Team Evaluation Information

NOTE: Fees apply to both cheer and dance athletes. Athletes that wish to be evaluated for both only pay fee once. 


$25.00 – Returning 2017-18 California Spirit Elite (Full year, Prep and Half Year) Team Athletes

$40.00 – New Athletes

 $50.00 Private Evaluation

1:00pm  Evaluations for Cheer athletes 7-18 years old


HOW TO REGISTER (Please complete all 5 steps listed below)

  2. Print, sign and complete the All Star Registration packet
  3. Submit the Registration and Release Form along with a legible copy of the athlete’s birth certificate and the correct payment amount to: California Spirit Elite, 6800 Sierra Ct. Suite P, Dublin, CA 94568
  4. Skills Evaluation Forms should be held onto until day of evaluation.
 *Please note that your registration will not be processed until any outstanding balance you may have is paid in full!


Private Athlete Evaluation sessions may be scheduled for athletes that cannot attend the evaluation date listed.  Cost is $50.00 for ALL athletes. To schedule, please call (925) 556-1095  Mondays – Thursdays after 3:00pm. You can also email 



Each athlete will be asked to demonstrate the following skills:

*Flexibility, Standing & Running Tumbling, Jumps and motion placement/choreography



At California Spirit Elite , we take great pride in our appearance because we believe that presentation is everything. We ask that you begin your season by wearing the following items to Athlete Evaluations:

Males - t-shirt, shorts, socks & sneakers, hair should be clean cut and face , absolutely no jewelry

Females - sports bra and/or t-shirt, shorts or leggings, socks & sneakers, hair in a high ponytail with a matching bow, absolutely no jewelry

If you'd like to purchase any California Spirit  apparel or merchandise, we have plenty of quality items for both athletes and parents on sale in the office .



Team placements will be emailed, Sunday, May 20th after 8pm and our MANDATORY PARENT MEETINGS will be held during the week of May 21-25, 2018. ALL TEAM MANDATORY FORMS & THE DEPOSIT MUST BE TURNED IN BY MAY 23rd. We will be fielding teams in as many divisions as possible. Team size and level will be determined after Athlete Evaluations but is subject to change throughout the course of the season.


Practices will begin on May 23rd. All forms and the team deposit will be due at this time.


Yes! It is possible to make a team later in the season through a Late Athlete Evaluation. However, spaces on teams may be very limited and we are often only looking for athletes of a specific age or skill level. In addition, monthly fees are calculated annually and include competition expenses, so anyone starting late will still be required to pay those fees. But even worse is that the athlete may miss some of the training, team bonding experiences and memories that make each season so special and memorable.
